The Professional Hygiene Brush Working Group was set up in 1995 in order to formulate a Federation of European Brush Manufacturers (FEIBP) Charter to satisfy the market requirements for a definition of Professional Hygiene Brushware.

All brushware showing the FEIBP "PHB" logo are manufactured to the criteria set out in the
Charter, and satisfies the requirements of both customers and third party bodies, enabling
end users to be confident that they will be using a product which complies with all existing
hygiene regulations.

The PHB Working Group considers applications from manufacturers for registration to the
PHB Charter, which is also open to companies outside the FEIBP, and also considers
amendments to the Charter if there are any regulation changes.
